WAKING UP COVERED IN LADY BUGS

Too wake up covered in Lady Bugs Current mood:  awake I just had my second class in a course I am taking in screenwriting with a BRILLIANT teacher!! The class is 3 hours long and its the fastest 3 hours EVER!! I have started working on my screenplay and it is an incredible journey that feels natural as I love to write. I have a new crush on Manhattan, over the last 2 years whatever angst I felt towards this city has dissipated. I feel like I am getting to know an old friend again, the one that at one point in my life inspired my blood to rush to the tips of my core!! I am utilizing all it has to offer, from the nightlife to the unique souls that hustle through the streets with ambitious eyes, some with a soul & some that lost there soul somewhere between there home town and local drug deal, or shady act of ripping off an innocent bystander. The well manicured, immaculate streets in West Palm Beach helped heal my wounds in some ways, my thoughts were gathered, and a foundation of a beautiful relationship was formed in the salty air, however NYC was calling my wild heart, the part of me that had been silenced under the palm trees. My eyes can face the streets that no longer have painful memories. There is no longing, I am numb to my past, numb to the betrayals of friends and lovers and have returned filled with vitality!! I feel stronger than I ever have, full of inspiration and understanding of the plan this Universe has drawn out for me. Sometimes when you are riding a bend in the road and you can't see where you are heading, your eyes squint so hard desperately aching to find the glimmer that shows the way forward, but I realize now you have to just sit back and TRUST. Sometimes the view you may have thought to be so beautiful was actually what could destroy your being in the future and the energies in the world make it almost impossible to take the path you BELIEVE in your heart is the right one. All I can say is I am so THANKFUL  for that.  There is a scene in the movie UNDER THE TUSCAN SUN where a woman tells a story about when she was a little girl, she had spent an entire day searching for Lady bugs, she looked EVERYWHERE and there were none to be found, she eventually decided to lay down and take a rest, she then fell asleep and when she woke she was covered in them!!! This metaphor can apply to so many things to so many people. Whether it be Love, work, friends.... you gotta just let go sometimes and it will come to you. Business is not emotional and I have learned to never confuse friendship with business, that is everyone's first brutal mistake.  At the end of the day when money is involved, friendships seem to lose their demeanor. I have always taken business betrayals to heart as I presumed I was with trusting friends. Of course at the end of the day it was quite the contrary. Lessons learned. Not to say you can't be friends with people you do business with, you just need to know the difference of your true friends that would slay dragon's for you and the one's that send dragon's to slay you. Anyways, Life is amazing right now!! I am very focused on ME, which is refreshing. So many beautiful opportunities have entered my life and I am very excited to invite each opportunity on this new journey I'm on. Big Kiss to you all XOXOOXOXOXOX
